Sustainably harvested natural incense often used for 'smudging' with the added benefit of sage removing bacteria from the air! (as proven by scientific research!) This perfect compact variety pack lets you experience 3 varieties with scent notes of White sage from the California's High Desert. Mugwort from Northern California's forest rivers. Siskiyou Cedar from the Pacific northwest.
Wildcrafted dried white sage (Salvia apiana), Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris), and Siskiyou Cedar (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana) wrapped in twine. No hidden ingredients. No charcoal or perfume.
Directions: Light the end of the smudge stick with a lighter or a match, and allow smudge to smolder and fill your space with the resinous scent of the west’s mountain-backcountry. Relight as desired. Have a bowl of sand nearby to extinguish. Be careful with fire and never leave the burning smudge stick alone.
White Sage – Beautiful leaf clusters and enormous flowering stalks burst forth in the spring, painting streaks of white against the rusty green hillsides.
Mugwort – Thick stands of fragrant, broad leaved plant run up and down both sides of the riparian, mountain paradise. The sound of a creak rippling under the sweet, sunshine wind full of bees and hummingbirds enjoying the new flowers after the snowmelt.
Cedar – The dappled light through a thick forest in the Pacific Northwest marks the trail back to the campfire. Little mushrooms rise up through the damp, black soil on both sides of the narrow path under the towering trees.
Smudging is said to be used for connections and to provide protection and blessings as the herbs are thought to bring clarity and purify the body and soul.
